The Recall was made over two separate issues.

Chrysler a whole lot of vehicles over different issues. The vehicles that are being recalled include 88,888 Darts, Durangos and Jeep Grand Cherokee.

All the recalls are unrelated to each other as every model is recalled due to its own unique issues. However the company took the decision to make the recall of these three models in the same run so that the problem can be solved in a shorter time.

The Dodge Dart that have been recalled consists of 54,255 vehicles out of this total recall. The recall of Dart was made due to a problem with the windshield washer pumps, according to AutoBlog.

It was revealed that in many cases the washer pumps on the windshield can get affected. These affected washer pumps can lead on to the short circuit of wiper system leading on to the disabled wipers.

The company will make sure that the wiring and pump of the affected vehicles are tested and then the essential parts are replaced to remove the defect. All the Dodge Darts that have been recalled belong to the 2016 model.

The number of Dodge Durangos and Jeep Grand Cherokees recalled is 34,633. All of the recalled vehicles belong to the 2016 model. The vehicles are being recalled over the fuel leak hazard.

It was seen that in a few cases the fasteners on the intake manifold can come in contact with the fuel rail if not fastened properly. This contact can lead on to produce a fire hazard in extreme conditions too.

The fire hazard can result from the fuel leakage that can also happen due to this fact. The according to company only 30 or so vehicles have this defect but they will inspect all of the vehicles to ensure that none of others are at risk. The company will replace faulty parts without any cost.
