The world’s first smart mirror has been named an honoree in the Smart Home product category

HiMirror is the world’s first ever smart mirror introduced under the consumer electronics brand of New Kinpo Group. Today HiMirror announced they have been named a CES 2017 Innovation Awards Honoree.

The honor has been bestowed in the Smart Home product category. According to the CTA the products entered in this category are evaluated on the basis of a preeminent panel.

The panel consists of numerous independent industrial designers, independent engineers and media personnel. HiMirror can be described as a personal beauty and health consultant.

The mirror provides a revolutionary approach to daily beauty. It can offer in-depth, personalized skincare analysis which is based on the user’s skin condition. A total of four different users can use the mirror for their skin profiling.

Simon Shen is the CEO of the Taipei-based New Kinpo Group, behind HiMirror. According to Shen they are tremendously honored HiMirror has been recognized as an Innovation Awards honoree.

Shen further stated tech should be a way to solve daily human challenges while subsequently making lives easier. Their product the HiMirror has been designed to achieve exactly this prupose.

Shen also praised CES for its prominence in the technology forum around the world. The CES platform is now being hailed as the forefront of showcasing new and innovative products every year.

According to the CTA, HiMirror was announced as an honoree after it scored high among judging criteria. The criterion includes features like unique product concept, intuitive design and high-quality engineering.

HiMirror was launched in the US just last month in October. The smart mirror is available for purchase via their website for a retail price of $189 in the US.
