Hatchimals: The Best Stores To Find Eggs

The Hatchimals don't teach kids how to code, but they are the hottest holiday toy of the year.

There are plenty of Holiday toy robots on the market that would teach your kids how to code, but all they want apparently is a Hatchimals Egg. The Hatchimals surfaced in stores in October and have rapidly evolved in the hottest Holiday toy. Youtube is to blame for the hype around Hatchimals in a big way. Toy Maker underestimated the demand and can't make enough Hatchimals for the Holidays.

Update: 3:01am ET Nov 21: Walmart just released new stock of Draggle, Penguala and Burtle. The number of offered Hatchimals was substantial. I was able to checkout a Draggle, oh I just released it again for you to grab.

Draggle In Stock

Update 3:54pm ET: Walmart just sold new Hatchimals inventory online at walmart.com. It was a big burst featuring stock of Pink Penguala, Burtle, and Draggle. I was able to bag two in the shopping cart. This was a sizable sale, but it still sold out in one minute. The Draggle lasted for two minutes. Walmart is apparently still selling Hatchimals online despite the upcoming Black Friday sale on Thanksgiving.

At least there is still new inventory showing up each day reportedly in stores and over the past weeks online stores have offered almost every day a limited inventory. Nintendo is not even able to supply new NES Classic Edition inventory a week after the sell-out launch.

The chances to find a Hatchimals in stock are much higher than finding a NES Classic in stock. Just this morning there have been Penguala Hatchimals in stock at ToysRUs online. Because of the rarity of new online inventory, the Hatchimals have sold out in mere seconds. As reported, we believe scalpers have also tasked their bot scripts to harvest Hatchimals.

Your best bet to find Hatchimals in stock this morning is at your local mall. Walmart, Target and ToysRUs stores have reportedly been getting new inventory on a daily basis.

One of our reporters visited a Target Store this week to talk about the Hatchimals stock situation and to find out how parents can get their hands on a Hatchimals egg at Target. Another report confirmed that Walmart stores are getting new Hatchimals daily.

The best strategy is to visit your local Walmart, Target and ToysRUs stores early in the morning. It is best to show up before the doors open, to not miss a potention overnight restocking of Hatchimals. In case there is empty shelf space where the Hatchimals are supposed to be, ask store employees when the store is restocking Hatchimals.

This method is your best chance to find Hatchimals right now. You might be meeting your local Hatchimals prospectors when you show up at the time the Hatchimals get restocked. These people make about $150 profit in reselling Hatchimals on amazon.com.

We have put together an extensive Hatchimals shopping guide that features a list of all stores known to potentially have Hatchimals in stock. Walmart has advertised Hatchimals in the Walmart Black Friday 2016 Ad. The retailer will be forced now to stock Hatchimals in each of their stores for Thanksgiving to not suffer a huge backlash from customers.

There have been reports about Hatchimals not hatching or stop working. Most of these customer reports stem from October, but there is a chance that the Hatchimals will not hatch or work on Christmas when your kids unwrap them. There could though be a simple solution to the problem. Spin Master released a video that explains everthing you need to know about Hatchimals and how to use them.

Black Friday 2016 deals are on sale now. The Black Friday Deals Tracker helps deal hunters to quickly find the Black Friday 2016 deals on sale right now online. New this year is the Amazon Black Friday 2016 Deals Tracker. The Amazon Black Friday 2016 sale is the biggest sale to find Black Friday deals.
