Amazon Really Wants You to Use Alexa for Black Friday Deals

Every day there are exclusive Amazon Black Friday deals for Alexa users. Now there is also a $5,000 give away.

Amazon announced the details about the Amazon Alexa Black Friday 2016 Deals on Friday. Amazon is releasing the Alexa-only Black Friday deals each during the Amazon Black Friday 2016 Deals week.

Today's Alexa exclusive Black Friday deals include again the Amazon Tap deal. Customers just need to say “Alexa, order an Amazon Tap” and they can get the Amazon Tap for $79.99 through Alexa.

The Sphero Star Wars BB-8 App Controlled Robot is today cheaper than advertised in the Amazon Black Friday 2016 deals via Alexa. Echo owners and owners of other Alexa enabled devices can pick up the BB-8 for $97.99 today with "Alexa, order a Star Wars robot."

Not only are the deals better through Alexa, now Amazon is also giving away $5,000 among all Alexa users that just utter the words "Alexa, what are your deals." The Alexa givaway has a $2,000 gift card as grand prize. The second price is a $1,000 gift card and third prize are four $500 gift cards. The givaway runs until end of November.

Amazon is doing everything to make Echo users buy stuff through the voice assistant. It appears Amazon is using Black Friday to educate its voice assistant user base. Once they are used to ordering through Alexa, there is jet another complexity of buying stuff at Amazon removed.

Prime members can take advantage of voice shopping exclusive deals on their Alexa enabled device simply by asking “Alexa, what are your deals?” each day or by visiting Order using your voice on Amazon Echo, Echo Dot, Amazon Tap, Amazon Fire HD tablet, or Amazon Fire TV. The first 25,000 customers making an order get a free $5 gift card.

All prices available on select dates at select times between November 18 and November 21 while supplies last. Additionally, save up to 40% on everyday essentials, plus other great gifts for car-lovers, pet-lovers, kids, and everyone on your holiday shopping list.

Plus, the deals will continue throughout the holiday season, with Alexa-exclusive deals on Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and every day in November and December. Customers who purchase an Alexa deal at $10 or more in value between now and Cyber Monday will also receive a bonus $5 Amazon gift card while supplies last.

Voice shopping with Alexa allows customers to shop for tens of millions of Prime-eligible items. Available on the Amazon Echo, Echo Dot, Amazon Tap, Amazon Fire HD tablet, and Amazon Fire TV, it’s as simple as saying, “Alexa, order [product].” Alexa will then find a products that ships with Prime. Just say, “yes” to buy it. To shop with Alexa, customers must be Prime members with “1-click” enabled.
