There is a lot the cars are looking for while being driven on autonomous mode.

Tesla had announced this October that all the new cars made by company will have the self-driving technology in them. There was a lot of speculation about the auto-pilot mode of car maker when two of its car were involved in an accident while being driven on auto-pilot mode.

One of the accidents result in a causality of driver as well. After that it was said that the car maker was making sure that its autonomous and self-driving technology becomes something like that of unbeatable. As according to Tesla the system was already pretty good.

Recently Tesla released a video in which one of its cars is shown in the self-driving mode. The company has also shared the screen shots of the way, the car’s system perceives the environment and the road ahead.

The video shows clearly that the car is driving its own self without any human input and is able to find directions in a precise way on its own too.

Elon Musk tweeted yesterday in which he actually shared the video link of demonstration of autopilot mode. The video shows the passenger sitting in driver’s seat as it is the law that no car can be driven without a supervisory driver.

The video also showed the view from car’s interior, its rear left cameras, medium range camera and rear right camera. It was also seen that there are loads of colors seen on the cameras.

The car sees the track with the help of red lines, the in path objects such as boards, signs and road lights are seen as blue boxes. The boxes also highlight any other potential hazard in front of the car. According to Tesla, they are making sure that the system is made better before it is introduced.
