The Nintendo NES Classic has not been restocked since launch.

Since the Walmart NES Classic online Flash sales series ended on Friday, the NES Classic was not in stock anywhere online. Our research of social media indicates that nobody was able to find a NES Classic at retail locations across the United States (email us if you found a NES in Stock).

Update: Walmart just announced to offer again limited NES Classic stock online today at 5pm ET and on Tuesday 5pm ET. Walmart's Facebook page post says: "Want the hottest gift of the holiday season? Well, come and get it at http://Walmart.com. It’s available for sale at 2pm PST on 11/21 and 11/22. Limited inventory. Limit 1 per customer."

The NES Classic Flash sales continue on walmart.com. Good luck beating the Tai Ding Bot.

Besides the limited quantities Walmart was selling last week, only GameStop has had some inventory that sold out quickly. There are no new reports about NES Classic Edition availability. Instead eBay resellers have fun with the world posting NES Classic for $10,000 and other fantasy amounts.

The offers are not serious as there are plenty of reseller offers on the market place available starting at $239. Due to the complete unavailability of the NES Classic reseller offers are $180 higher than the $59.99 MSRP.

The rumor over the weekend about Best Buy getting NES stock did not pan out as far as we have confirmed. Nintendo promised on the NES Classic Edition launch on Nov. 11 that there will be a steady flow of additional systems through the holiday shopping season and into the new year.

Since then Nintendo made no further comments about when the NES Classic will be back in stock. Since launch 10 days have passed without a new shipment from Asia. Nintendo's inability to resupply could eventually back fire as consumers lose interest. It also raises concerns about the launch of the Nintendo Switch in March of next year. We already warned about the limited stock of the $99.99 New Nintendo 3DS on Black Friday.

Nintendo knows it messed up, underestimating the demand for the NES Classic Edition. Nintendo has issued a statement on Twitter on November 11 acknowledging the shortage of the NES Classic Edition. "The Nintendo Entertainment System: NES Classic Edition system is a hot item, and we are working hard to keep up with consumer demand. There will be a steady flow of additional systems through the holiday shopping season and into the new year. Please contact your local retailers to check availability."

The shrunk NES console, retailing for $59.99 list price, features the classic Nintendo NES controller many geeks have grown up with. The retro console comes pre-installed with 30 classic NES games including Super Mario Bros., Pac-Man, Metroid, Donkey Kong, The Legend of Zelda and Kirby's Adventures. The NES Classic Edition system is a miniaturized version of the groundbreaking NES, originally released in 1985.
