Donald Trump’s First 100 Days Will be a Nightmare for Environment
  • Donald Trump’s Initial Three Months in Office will be an Environmentalist’s Nightmare

It is being said that Donald Trump’s initial three months in office will be an environmentalist’s nightmare.

Donald Trump will be in the White House in the capacity of POTUS soon. He recently gave an outline of what his first 100 days as President will be like.

Whatever the ramifications on the nation, not to mention the rest of the global village, one thing is for sure. It will be hell for the environment since this is the man who has labeled climate change as nothing more than a hoax and a fraud.

Trump posted a video clip on YouTube in which he said that he plans on lifting some of the sanctions that had hitherto been applicable to the fossil fuel industry.

This may mean more energy being available for factories and cars yet it will also mean a polluted environment. The end result will be global warming.

Donald Trump intends to create many jobs that will keep Americans happy yet he also has his eyes set on doing away with President Obama’s environmental work. In fact, Trump appeared positively eager regarding such a course of action that would annihilate Obama’s legacy.

Trump has vowed that he will roll back all the precious handiwork that has been done to save the environment. This does not seem to bode well for climate change.

Already the world is facing a crisis where 2016 was the hottest year on record. It was a sweltering and sizzling summer. Trump has taken an oath that he will benefit coal miners and end the onslaught on their jobs, according to HuffingtonPost.

While this may be good news for a few, it will spell disaster and devastation for the environment which is a very delicate thing. The ecosphere needs careful handling at this stage in our evolution as a rapacious species.

With Trump’s blustering behavior and thundering speeches from the rostrum of self-righteousness, it seems the science of environmentalism will go to the dogs.

A climate change denier has been placed in the top slot in the EPA by Trump. Also the President-elect plans on backing out of the Paris Agreement. It is oughtright tragic to see so much hard work going down the drain thanks to a single man in the White House.

John Kerry had said that by the year 2050, the USA would slash greenhouse gas emissions by 80%. Yet with Trump in office such a scenario seems unlikely to occur. Trump in fact looks to the past as a source of stability and integrity. His ways are not progressive but destructive.
