The cloud-based software powered smart hub will be able to connect all the smart devices in a home

The Silicon Valley based company; SmartBeings which specializes in Internet of Things (IoT) is going to launch a smart hub at CES 2017. The smart hub called WooHoo is an Artificial Intelligence (AI) focused interactive cloud-like software powered hub for smart homes.

WooHoo is a bid by SmartBeings to simplify the management of smart homes. Today we live in an era dependent upon devices like TVs, air conditioners, coffee pots and the list goes on.

Managing all these devices at the same time can be quite the hassle. As IoT is connecting more homes and workplaces it is vital to have a system to manage all of it.

WooHoo is the world’s first AI-embedded hub in an interactive and affordable form. The cloud-based software powered smart home hub allows family members to manage their smart devices at home from anywhere in the world. According to SmartBeings, WooHoo was designed to simplify the smart homes of today.

Earlier in the month SmartBeings was also honored by the CTA with the prestigious CES Innovation Award at the CES Unveiled event in New York City. Since SmartBeings is an honoree of the Innovation Awards it places their smart hub in a must see category at CES.

Himanshu Kaul is the Chief Strategy Officer at SmartBeings. According to Kaul, a majority of people believe smart techs for homes are not just extremely expensive but also exceedingly difficult to use. However that is no longer true at all, thanks to WooHoo in a large part.

“Most people perceive smart home technology as extremely expensive and exceedingly difficult to set up,” said Himanshu Kaul, SmartBeings’ Chief Strategy Officer.

“Thanks to WooHoo, just the opposite is true. It takes less than 60 seconds to do it yourself, or you can let a WooHoo expert guide you through real-time video streamed on the device. And WooHoo’s natural language processing capability enables the device to understand you, just as if you were talking to another person.

“Through the product’s AI interactive smart home hub with facial recognition and voice control, smart living is now both easy and affordable.”

According to Joe Santos, SmartBeings’ Chief Digital and Marketing Officer, WooHoo is presently in its final stages of testing, with the product and platform scheduled to hit the marketplace by Q2 2017.

WooHoo will be showcased at CES 2017 in the city of Las Vegas from the 5th to the 8th of January, 2017.
