NES Classic In Stock and on Sale at Walmart Online at 5pm ET Today
Behold. The rare Nintendo NES Classic Edition

The daily Nintendo NES Classic sale at the Walmart online shop restarted on Monday. Tuesday is the last day for the new announced NES flash sale.

Walmart announced on Facebook a new NES flash sale with limited NES Classic stock online today at 5pm ET. Monday's 2pm PST/5pm EST NES Flash sale sold out in under a minute again despite the 1 per customer limit.

Update Nov 23: A source at a Best Buy store told I4U News that the retailer is getting "quite a few" NES Classic for the Best Buy Black Friday sale in stores beginning Thanksgiving. This is the only report about new NES stock availability so far, after the last Walmart sale on Tuesday.

Update: And the NES is gone again in under 1 minute. We have seen it show up in stock as you can see in the screenshot below. During checkout the NES got pulled out because it was out of stock. So some of you will got one, but most did not. Walmart has not yet announced a new NES sale. Other retailers have been totally quite about NES availability.

Update: Ignore the $499 price stated on the NES page on Walmart. This is a marketplace offer. Walmart needs to redesign their store to make it more obvious that these are not their direct deals. It is confusing a lot of shoppers. Walmart is hurting its image with this. The $59.99 price appears as soon as Walmart releases the limited stock of NES Classic consoles at 5pm EST / 2pm PST.

Walmart posted on Facebook on Monday: "Want the hottest gift of the holiday season? Well, come and get it at the Walmart online store. It’s available for sale at 2pm PST on 11/21 and 11/22. Limited inventory. Limit 1 per customer."

The good news is that the NES Classic Flash sales continue on, but beating the Tai Ding Bot is hard. Today it will be easier as Walmart finally puts a limit of 1 per customer in place. We have talked to a Tai Ding bot user who bagged a dozen NES in a flash sale last week.

Yesterday's NES Classic Edition sale has been seen by real-time stock tracker, which is a sign that there was a significant number NES Classic consoles available. The $59.99 NES Classic and also the Nintendo original $9.99 NES Controller have been on sale.

Comments on Facebook indicate that shoppers have successfully managed to buy a NES Classic Edition at the regular price and without the use of a bot script.

Walmart reiterated on Facebook that new limited NES stock will be available Tuesday, Nov. 22 at 2pm PST/5PM ET on

Walmart has sold limited quantities of the hyped Nintendo NES Classic each day at 5pm ET last week. No other store has the NES Classic.

To beat the bots today at 5pm ET at to buy a NES Classic you need to be prepared. Make sure you are logged into your account on with credit card information stored into the account.

You also should already configure Walmart store (My Store) where you want to pick up your NES. This is faster and cheaper than getting it shipped. When it is time you need to move fast with your mouse and react to what is happening in your browser. Use the browser's back button in case the cart fails. Try your luck one more time at 5pm ET on this page.

The NES Classic Edition sells for a minimum of $239.99 from resellers at the Amazon Market Place. Update: A new offer on the Amazon's marketplace sells the NES Classic for $185 plus $5.21 shipping. That is the lowest price for the NES on the reseller market we have seen in a while.

Some industry insiders predict the next major NES Classic Edition shipment from Nintendo in December after the Black Friday and Cyber Monday madness.

The new Nintendo Entertainment System is hailed as a great item for the Holidays. It works great as gift for adults as well as kids. Families can enjoy playing the simple video games from the 80s together. Because of the hype around the new NES, it is already speculated that Nintendo will re-release more retro games and consoles. We could see in one of the next Holiday seasons a mini Super NES, mini Nintendo 64, mini Nintendo GameCube and even a mini Wii.

The NES Classic Edition comes only with a single wired controller. There are 3rd party controllers and accessories that make the NES more fun to use. Gamers can get additional controllers and even wireless controllers.

Nintendo knows it messed up, underestimating the demand for the NES Classic Edition. Nintendo has issued a statement on Twitter on November 11 acknowledging the shortage of the NES Classic Edition. "The Nintendo Entertainment System: NES Classic Edition system is a hot item, and we are working hard to keep up with consumer demand. There will be a steady flow of additional systems through the holiday shopping season and into the new year. Please contact your local retailers to check availability."

The palm-sized NES console, retailing for $59.99 list price, features the classic Nintendo NES controller many geeks have grown up with. The retro console comes pre-installed with 30 classic NES games including Super Mario Bros., Pac-Man, Metroid, Donkey Kong, The Legend of Zelda and Kirby's Adventures. The NES Classic Edition system is a miniaturized version of the groundbreaking NES, originally released in 1985.
