Lotus Exige Sport 380 officially revealed by company

Lotus has just revealed the Lotus Exige Sport 380 and the company is regarding it to be the fastest and lightest sports car ever made by company. According to the company, it is the most powerful version of Hethel’s V6 powered sports car being made by the company.

This new Lotus Exige Sport 380 is based on last year’s Exige Sport 380. The already potent model was overhauled in order to give the right kind of specification to make it super-fast and super light too.

The lightest version of the model weighs just 1066kg, it is 25 kgs lesser than the lightest Exige Sport. The car is pretty fast as well. It has the ability to top 0-60mph in mere 3.5 secs.

The top speed of Lotus Exige Sport 380 is 178mph. the engine has also been given a power boost which makes its power up to 375bhp. Another reason for its super-fast speed is the betterment of aerodynamics. It has improved the overall package of the car for sure as well.

According to the Lotus boss Jean-Marc Gales this car is Lotus at its best. Along with that it is also being said that it is the most advanced Exige which is made up till now. The new Lotus Exige Sport 380 is super-fast and track ready but the car is suitable for road use as well.

The car has been given new access panel, new rear light a new rear wing and a diffuser which was not introduced before and that has made the car lighter as well.

The aerodynamics package includes the new front splitter which is present in lip spoiler a large fixed rear wing which has made the aerodynamics better than ever.
