A Kohl's employee gave I4U News the inside of the Kohl's Black Friday 2016 sales event in stores. Biggest reveal: Hatchimals to be in stock.

Ah Kohl’s, the favorite place of teenage girls and soccer moms. It isn’t going to be one of the first places you think of going for Black Friday, but it is a huge hit in the suburbs.

So what should you know about shopping at Kohl’s on Black Friday? We talked to an employee at a local Kohl’s:

What Time Should I Get to Kohl’s on Black Friday?

Kohl’s will open up at 6 PM on Thanksgiving, so you should plan to get there mid to late afternoon to get the best spot in line. The lines here won’t be as bad as some of the other places, so you can definitely enjoy your Turkey Dinner and put the pumpkin pie in a “to go” bag.

What Are The Most Popular Black Friday Deals At Kohl’s?

By far, our source says, the biggest deals are going to be on the Fitbits. People are already calling to ask about them (probably because they are already regretting overeating tomorrow) and the 4K Tv for $249.99. Any deal where you get Kohl’s Cash is going to be popular, according to this source.

The team at this particular store is preparing for a huge rush on clothing this year too. Last year, they almost ran out of boots! Not just one store, but all of them were running low on boots in the most common sizes, 7 to 10.

She said that the typical shopper who goes to Kohl’s on Black Friday is going to be the “soccer mom” type that really just wants to get the best deals and the Kohl’s Cash to spend more later. The Kohl's Black Friday sale is live online since Monday. See the Kohl's Black Friday 2016 ad for all available deals in the Kohl's Black Friday 2016 sale.

Will Kohl’s Have Hatchimals on Black Friday?

YES. Kohl’s will have a VERY LIMITED number of Hatchimals this holiday season. According to the source, people have been calling and showing up to Kohl’s looking for Hatchimals all season long. It is important to note that Kohl’s won’t get quite as many as Walmart or Target, so you will have to get there earlier. The Hatchimals sell for over $200 on Amazon. A trip to Kohl's seems like a good alternative.

Tips from Kohl’s Employees on Black Friday Shopping

Kohl’s doesn’t tend to be one of the first places that people go, so this employee suggests not going here first. The deals aren’t as likely to sell out as quickly, which means you’ll have time to play around. Still, if you are looking for one of the deals above, you might want to get there early.

But this employees biggest tip? You don’t actually have to go out quickly on Black Friday. Kohl’s will continue many of these deals throughout the season.

Hatchimals Situation

It is understandable that retailers want a piece of the pie that scalpers are getting for the hottest Holiday toy of 2016. $89.99 is pushing it for this toy, that is not without criticism

While ToysRUs and Jet.com increase their margin offering Hatchimals online above the MSRP, Walmart will sell Hatchimals on Black Friday for $48.88. Find all stores offering Hatchimals in our Hatchimals shopping guide.

Hatchimals are magical creatures that live inside of eggs. Each egg contains one of two interactive Hatchimals. Kids need to care for the toy while it is still inside the egg and its eyes will light up as it makes cute sounds, telling you how it’s feeling.

Once your children have played with it enough, you’ll see rainbow eyes. That means its time to hatch. Hatchimals can’t hatch on their own. Kid's touch encourages them to peck their way out of the egg.

Now you get to raise your furry Hatchimal through 3 stages, from baby to toddler, to kid. Your Hatchimal sings “Hatchy Birthday” each time it enters a new stage. Teach yours to walk, dance, play games and more.

It will even repeat what you say in its own voice. Hatchimals run on two AA LR6 batteries that are included. The video below released by Spin Master explains in the detail how Hatchimals work and how to play with them.

Spin Master has underestimated the demand for Hatchimals in the United States. The clever designed Hatchimals push all the right buttons to become a viral hot Holiday toy. The company has warned consumers that the supply of Hatchimals is extremely constraint and the situation will not ease until early 2017. Many kids have to be prepared to not get a Hatchimals this year. Read our Hatchimals Buyer's Guide to help you get a Hatchimals in time for Christmas.
