FBI closes the investigation into the child abuse allegations against Brad Pitt

Brad Pitt is acquitted. Not that anyone was calling him guilty in the first place but for the past two months, the FBI has been investigating the 52 years old actor for child abuse allegations.

Following the allegations made against the actor by his wife Angelina Jolie, she went on to file for divorce and also filed for the sole custody for all six of their children.

The actor allegedly got in a riff with the couple’s oldest son Maddox and he allegedly got physical in anger. The family was travelling in a private jet headed to L.A. when the incident happen and it was a priority to determine whether it happened in U.S. air space.

Once it was established that it was, FBI and the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services launched full investigations into the case which impacted the divorce of the couple, their assets and most importantly, the custody of their children.

Child abuse allegations impacted badly on Pitt’s chance for his demand of joint custody. The family was investigated and questioned thoroughly about the incident to make the right determination about whether the case should be pursued.

The the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services has previously declared that Pitt has not indeed abused Maddox. They services even drafted a temporary custody settlement in which Pitt got supervised visits with all his children. The FBI recently closed the investigation in the case.

In an official review, the FBI stated to Us Weekly,“In response to allegations made following a flight within the special aircraft jurisdiction of the United States which landed in Los Angeles carrying Mr. Brad Pitt and his children, the FBI has conducted a review of the circumstances and will not pursue further investigation.”

“No charges have been filed in this matter.”

This will strengthen Pitt’s appeal for joint custody of his children.
