Richard Yu will talk about Huawei’s vision towards a model of innovation directed all over the globe

Richard Yu, the CEO of Huawei Consumer Business Group will be coming to CES 2017 to deliver a keynote address. The Consumer Technology Association (CTA) made the announcement today.

Yu will discuss Huawei’s vision for the future at the upcoming event in the Venetian’s Palazzo Ballroom on the 5th of January. The keynote will consist of Huawei’s vision for a more global model of innovation.

The discussion will also revolve around how the model will tap into the strengths of each country and region. In this way Huawei will also encourage more collaboration on latest technologies and techniques in many areas.

According to Huawei their mobile tech plans for tomorrow will involve integration of latest AI (Artificial Intelligence), VR (Virtual Reality) and connectivity in suitable products. For the development of such products Huawei will also enter elite global partnerships.

Gary Shapiro the president and CEO of the CTA, Yu is a leading visionary in the technology industry and they are looking forward to welcoming him.

Yu has been working with Huawei since the company was formed back in 1993 and helped shape the brand which it is today through its fast growing phase. Yu previously also served as a CTO of Wireless R&D, and director of technical sales at Huawei.

Under Yu’s leadership, today Huawei is one of the leading mobile phone brands connecting people from across the world and poses potential for endless possibilities.

Currently Huawei is ranked as one of the top three smartphone brands in the world. The company has always pushed for meaningful and innovative consumer technology. Huawei works towards better connectivity in more than 170 countries which is equal to one-third of earth’s population.

Owned and produced by the Consumer Technology Association, CES will run through January 5-8, 2017 in Las Vegas, NV.
