Bentley Recalls New Bentayga SUV Over Seat Bolt Issue
  • Bentley Bentayga Recalled By Company over Loose Seat Bolt Issue

A total of 1619 luxury cars recalled from all over the world

The Bentley Bentayga SUV had been recalled by company due to the loose bolts that have been used to join the seat belts. A total of 1619 cars have been recalled worldwide while 238 of them have been recalled from Britain.

The issue is handled quickly as it can lead on to risk of injury if the seat bolt doesn’t stay fixed. According to the company, no specific complaints were lodged by the customers or owners of the cars. However the company is making the recall in order to check the problem or fix the issues if any of them is found.

It was seen that in some vehicles the bolts that join the seat belt to the car not tightened to full extent. The loosened bolts can then give way to the seat belt when fastened which can result in injury if the car is involved in an accident. The owners of Bentley Bentayga SUV are being informed the company, so their cars can be fixed.

Bentley has expected to sell at least 5500 Bentley Bentayga SUV by the end of year 2016. The company is introducing a diesel number next year so the sales might increase more than this too.

The new diesel model will have a twin turbo Bentayga 6.0 liter W12 engine which is powered by a 3.75 liters turbo charged diesel unit.

The SUV will have the ability to achieve 0-62mph in 4.8 seconds which is eight tenths of a second slower than the petrol engine version.

The cost of this diesel version car will be around £135,800 which is £26,900 lesser than petrol model. The company is looking forward for the diesel model to become the vehicle of choice for British customers.
