Ford to introduce the Next Fiesta Soon

Ford Motors Co is planning to introduce the new Fiesta which is a subcompact sedan at a new event in Germany on November 29th. Along with that, Ford is planning to update its fuel saving technology and smart mobility strategy in the upcoming commercial vehicles.

The redesigned Ford Fiesta which is introduced in the event is the smallest car by the company to offer in United States. The car is supposed to hit the showrooms by the year 2018, according to AutomotiveNews

According to Jim Farley, the new Fiesta is the epitome of a classic Ford car. He said that it is fun, sporty and have a great drive which will make the owner rely happy. He also added that it is the iconic car by company that has made generations of customers happy by its performance from the past 40 years. 

The European media has reported that the seventh generation Fiesta will remain to be on the B-sized platform of Ford’s global platform index. However the company is making it more refined by updating many aspects of it.

There is also news that Ford might offer a luxurious Vignale variant of the next Fiesta. This version will be offered in the British market depending upon the sales and interest in the market of customers. 

It was seen that Fiesta sales have seen a decline of sales by 27 percent which is a sharp decline for sure. The reason which was identified behind this decline that due to the low gasoline prices, customers preferred buying bigger SUVs and crossovers. 

Ford Fiesta was launched in the year 1976 for the first time and has been popular since. It is currently manufactured in Mexico, Thailand, Vietnam, Venezuela, Taiwan and India. The US version will still be developed in Mexico’s Ford unit.
