  • Ferrari now reveals all 70 of its special LaFerrari Aperta liveries

Only 5 examples of the liveries were revealed by Ferrari back at the Paris Motor show for its 70th anniversary.

Back at the Paris Motor Show, Faerrari has revealed the Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta. The LaFerrari Aperta came in 70 different liveries but back then only 5 were shared by Ferrari. The 70 different special liveries had been designed to mark Ferrari’s 70th anniversary on the road.

Only 200 of the LaFerrari Aperta models were ever made along with 350 production examples. All of it sold right away. The car, the production examples and the liveries were all sold before the covers even came off on the Paris show displays.

Now Ferrari has decided to reveal all the livery designs which were inspired from Ferrari’s 70-year history. A gallery showing all the liveries has been set up on Ferrari’s site.

At the time of its sale the Ferrari bosses has stated the demand for their LaFerrari Aperta alone was three times more than even their production run.

Next year Ferrari will celebrate its 70th in full swing with many events. Two events will be held in Italy next year. Ferrari will invite all of the owners of the iconic 250 GTO to Italy in September, according to AutoCar.

All of the LaFerrari Aperta cars will be driven along a pre-planned route before they arrive at Ferrari's Maranello factory. At the factory the cars will be put on display. The owners of all 70 ‘iconic’ classic Ferraris will again be invited in April to take part in a 'cross-Italy cavalcade’, finishing at Maranello.

The most prominent models revealed by Ferrari at the Paris motor show included the  F12 Berlinetta also called “The Stirling” , the 488 GTB also called “The Schumacher”, the California T or more aptly “The Steve McQueen”, and the 488 Spider also dubbed the “The Green Jewel”.
