Some Common iPhone 7 Problems And Their Solutions

The iPhone 7 does not seem to look much different from its predecessors but once you get to use it and explore the details you will find the iPhone 7 to be a step ahead of previous iPhones. The iPhone 7 has a set of great features such as dual speakers, HD camera, water resistance, faster processor and so on.

As a whole the iPhone is perfect but as the thing is with technological gadgets you may find some issues. Below are some issues you might face on the iphone and their solution.

1. No 3.5mm Headphone Jack

Apple has faced a lot of criticism over its decision to scrap the headphone jack. The old headphones you owned cannot be used on the iPhone 7. The iPhone 7 instead offers you standard lightning port. The problem though is that you can’t charge and listen to music at the same time. The solution is to buy yourself a pair of wireless earphones. You will still have to wait for the Apple wireless earphones. You may also use the adaptor to plug in the headphones while you’re charging your phone.

2. The Hissing Sound

Many iPhone users have complained about a hissing sound. This sound supposedly comes from the back of the device. It gains volume with the amount of work being done by the iPhone 7. If you ever counter this problem contact Apple for a replacement.

3. No Service After Switching Off The Airplane Mode

Some iPhone users complain that their phone is unable to find a cellular network after it is switched on from Airplane mode. You may do the following • Try to toggle the Airplane mode on and off repeatedly

• You should ensure there is a service covering your area. You can check this in your phone settings.

• If you happen to be travelling internationally make sure your roaming has been activated

• Turn your phone off and switch it on again

• Turn off your phone. Remove the sim card and remove any dirt. Make sure your card has not been damaged. Replace the sim and switch the phone again • Reset your network settings

4. Low Battery Life

As per the specifications the iPhone 7 has a better battery than the iPhone 6S thanks to the fusion chip. Even then many users complain of battery drainage. The solution to this problem is that

• You can switch to low battery mode from your Settings. This helps save some battery. However you may find some features to be disabled.

• You can check out Battery usage and look out for any particular apps which are consuming your battery

5. The Home button Has To Be Pressed To Unlock

If you happen to dislike pressing the Home button to unlock and prefer touching it instead you can do the following.

Go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Home button and toggle on Rest finger to Open

6. Lightning Earpods Won’tWwork

The lightning Earpods come in the box of iPhone 7. Many users complain that these sometimes stop working. The remote control buttons specifically stop responding. This halts you from playing media and even using Siri. Apple has acknowledged this issue and is working to resolve the matter. Until then you can try unplugging the Earpods and plugging again.

7. Unable To Activate The iPhone 7

When server traffic is high the iPhone 7 can’t be activated. If you get a message about server traffic that means Apple is working on it. Here are the possible solutions

• Switch to Wi-Fi instead if you are using cellular network to activate

• Switch iPhone on and off

• Ensure your iPhone is up-to-date.

• Contact your carrier

• You may have to contact Apple Support
