Amazon Cyber Deal: $199.99 Sony PS4 500GB Uncharted 4 Bundle

The Amazon Cyber Monday Sale just produced one of the best deals on the new Sony PS4 Slim consoles.

Amazon offers the $249.99 Sony PS4 500GB Uncharted 4 Bundle with a $50 Amazon Gift card, slashing the cost of the new Sony PS4 down to under $200. Amazon's cyber deal on the Sony PS4 console beats Target's Cyber Monday deal on the PS4 using the 15% sitewide sale. The deal matches how much Target RedCard holders would pay for the PS4 at Target.

The Sony PS4 500GB Uncharted 4 Bundle with $50 Gift card is available on amazon.com.

The new PS4 offer is not the first Target Cyber Monday deal Amazon has matched today. Amazon also sells the $212.49 Xbox One S 500GB Minecraft Bundle and $339.99 Sony PS4 Pro 1TB. The discount match what shoppers get at Target.

Despite all the efforts on Microsoft's side to make the Xbox One S more attractive in Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals with deeper discounts, more bonus items and wider range of bundles and colors, the PS4 seems to come out on top in terms of sales again. The best-selling video game console on Amazon is the PS4 Slim ranking second in the overall video game chart, only beat by the $33.99 Sony DualShock 4 Wireless controller. Thee Sony PS4 Pro ranks at 6th.

The Xbox One S consoles are not even in the top 20 of the most sold Video game items on Amazon.com. There is no shortage of the Xbox One S on Amazon. There is nothing holding it back besides low demand from gamers.

The deals on sale on Cyber Monday are not different anymore from Black Friday. The difference are retailer specific. While Amazon (Amazon Cyber Monday Deals) and Walmart (Walmart Cyber Monday deals) are continue to offer individual deals, like on Black Friday, Target is offering a 15% sitewide discount. This deal broke Target's online store last year. The retailer said that they made a lot of changes and Target.com will not fail on Cyber Monday.

Target will also offer the 15% sitewide discount in stores, negating the meaning of Cyber Monday. Cyber Monday, a term coined by Shop.org in 2005, got established when retailers saw a trend of consumers shopping online on the Monday after Thanksgiving. Today, Cyber Monday is viewed as the online equivalent to Black Friday.

Cyber Monday 2016 is expected to set a new record for online spending. 2016 Black Friday and Thanksgiving Day already set a new records in online spending with $3 billion and $1.93 billion respectively. Cyber Monday 2015 set a new record with $3 billion. This year Cyber Monday sales need to exceed $3 billion to beat Black Friday.
