Jeff Bezos' online store is going to have another record breaking Cyber Monday according to an update from an Amazon Spokes person.

The Amazon Cyber Monday 2016 sale is the most dynamic and most popular sale. While other retailer struggle to keep their digital shelves stocked, Amazon shuffles deals around to keep the ball rolling. An Amazon spokesperson just told us that Amazon is not surprisingly on track to the best Cyber Monday in the retailer's history.

After a record-breaking sales weekend on Amazon.com, Amazon rounds out the "Turkey 5" with Cyber Monday. The best-selling item on Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Monday so far is Echo Dot. Of all the things Amazon sells, the Echo Dot 2nd Generation is the most sold on Black Friday. This is surprising. The Echo Dot 2 is only discounted by $10, but the device is so popular with consumers that this rebate is enough to drive sales.

The $39.99 Echo Dot deal ends tonight at midnight Pacific, along with all Cyber Monday deals on Amazon Devices.

The Amazon Echo Dot is a hands-free, voice-controlled device with a small built-in speaker—it can also connect to your speakers or headphones over Bluetooth or through a 3.5 mm audio cable to deliver stereo sound to the speakers you choose. Dot connects to the Alexa Voice Service to play music, provide information, news, sports scores, weather, and more..

According to Amazon, as of noon PT today, mobile app orders on Amazon are on pace to surpass app orders compared to Cyber Monday last year. In the first half of Cyber Monday, Amazon.com customers ordered more than 2 million toys and the Pie Face Showdown Game by Hasbro is Amazon's best-selling toy so far, priced right now at a low $11.90.

The deals on sale on Cyber Monday are not different anymore from Black Friday. The difference are retailer specific. While Amazon (Amazon Cyber Monday Deals) and Walmart (Walmart Cyber Monday deals) are continue to offer individual deals, like on Black Friday, Target is offering a 15% sitewide discount. This deal broke Target's online store last year. The retailer said that they made a lot of changes and Target.com will not fail on Cyber Monday.

Target will also offer the 15% sitewide discount in stores, negating the meaning of Cyber Monday. Cyber Monday, a term coined by Shop.org in 2005, got established when retailers saw a trend of consumers shopping online on the Monday after Thanksgiving. Today, Cyber Monday is viewed as the online equivalent to Black Friday.

Cyber Monday 2016 is expected to set a new record for online spending. 2016 Black Friday and Thanksgiving Day already set a new records in online spending with $3 billion and $1.93 billion respectively. Cyber Monday 2015 set a new record with $3 billion. This year Cyber Monday sales need to exceed $3 billion to beat Black Friday.
