The production version of the sports sedan was spied recently.

The 2018 Kia GT Stinger which is actually based in GT concept car unveiled in the year 2011 at Frankfurt Auto Show, has been revealed. The prototypes of the car were spotted earlier a number of times that gave us an anticipated picture of this car.

However recently the car was spied in the production unit which gave us the clear cut view of this upcoming new Saloon. The leaked shot was published by Kia-World blog that shows the car in its pre-production version.

The car takes a heavy influence from the concept of 2011 but some of the lines in the exterior have been toned down obviously due to necessity.

It is still not confirmed that what this car will be called. However it is speculated that it will be called Stinger which is the reason that we are going with this name in this article too.

In Korea which is the home market of Kia, it will be known as K8. The K8 will be positioned between K7 which is known as Cadenza and K9 which is known as K900.

Under all the tough exterior, this car will be a total copy of Genesis G70. The G70 is also under development these days, according to MotorAuthority. The G70 is the shortened and smaller version of G80.

The car should have an upgraded horsepower of 365bhp and should be available in a V-6 turbo charged engine. The suggestions say that it will be available in 8 speed automatic transmission. Along with this we can expect a hybrid version of the car as well.

The pricing of the car should be somewhat around $32K. The people who like cars like that of Audi A5 Sports back and BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe will like this car.
