It looks like Mazda is off to enter the electric vehicle industry in coming months. The company might be offering an electric car soon with a range extending gasoline engine.

This kind of car will surely be a revolutionary one among the EV cars offered by other companies. The only problem with EVs is that they are not able to offer a lot of range due to the battery capacity.

Another problem is that the charging stations are not available easily which hampers the use of EVs for longer rides. Thus a gasoline range extending engine in an EV will be a great choice for EV lovers for sure.

This news was deduced by GreenCarReports from the conversation which took place between Mazda Executives and a number of journalists on the Los Angeles Auto Show.

The company officials of Mazda shared that the organization is ready to touch the domain of electric vehicles in the future. They might launch an electric vehicle by year 2019. The hints about a gasoline engine for range extension were all included in the shared news.

According to Mazda, they are looking to formulate a zero emission EV by the year 2019 according to the regulations of North America. Mazda will be the company included in second tier of automakers who are complying with the regulation of zero emission in year 2018.

Many companies like that of Toyota has finally come to work on the EV module this year after bad mouthing the technology. They have seen that the EV technology is rising day by day and will surely see a great future ahead too.

It looks like Mazda has also started investing in the region as they are working on developing a hybrid hatchback these days too.
