Apple App Store To Adopt Local Currencies In 8 Countries

It’s a great news from Apple as they have announced that they will soon adopt local currencies of 8 countries within the next couple of weeks. This is a very positive news for the developers and Apple users.

This move will allow the users to check out the cost of the premium applications, in-app purchases. It is often observed that people are confused and have to do many calculations when they have to buy premium apps and still it was not accurate as the rate of dollar is continuously changing.

The countries which have taken place in the Apple’s list are as under:

• Egypt

• Pakistan

• Malaysia

• Philippines

• Vietnam

• Tanzania

• Qatar

• Nigeria

Within a couple of weeks, the users of these countries will be experiencing this change. If you are Apple application developer, you might also have been notified of this change. It will not only allow you to pay in local currencies but it will also allow you to get paid in that currency. Moreover, once this change will occur, the purchases made in that particular country will also subject to add taxes of that country.

Their authorities do not confirm the date when the American dollars will be changed into local currencies but it is expected that the action would be completed within the next couple of weeks. It will be a New Year gift for the Apple application developers.
