BMW to provide autonomous ride sharing services soon

BMW is supposed to test its autonomous vehicles soon in Munich. The testing will start with the start of New Year. The company is trying to become on par with famous ride hailing service providers like that of Uber.

However, only the new thing is that BMW calming is that they are aiming to be the “Coolest” ride providers to customers who would like to share a ride with others, according to Reuters.

The German car maker BMW already has gotten around 40 vehicles that are autonomous in nature and ready for testing in Munich. The company is first aiming to test these vehicles in Munich and later on the horizon of this project will be expanded on different cities.

According to Buettner, the VP of BMW, each and very autonomous vehicle will have a trained driver at the front of wheel of a car. This will ensure that none of the cars lose their control ever if anything wrong happens with them too.

The river will be able to control the cars in case of emergency situations and will be able to collect data from the traveling of car on its own too.

Uber has worked with many other companies in order to provide services like that of smartphone based ride hailing services. This is the main goal of BMW too however they are trying to expand their horizon by introducing facilities like that of pay-by-the-minute services. These services are already working on Seattle by ReachNow.

Many other companies have actually paid money in order to make the autonomous vehicles famous. BMW says that other companies have poured in the money in the technology. However no they will come with the coolest service in market.
