The company has shown interest in testing of self-driving cars technology.

However a new letter written by Apple to US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), indicated that company is looking for autonomous car testing.

The letter read that Apple is really enthusiastic and excited to test the autonomous car technology. They also mentioned testing in the field of transportation too.

The company is aiming currently to be a self-driving car tech. Thus they are ensuring that they do not violate any rule on the regulations board nor they go off the ethical boundaries.

According to Apple’s new letter, they want to share the crash and near crash data of the tested cars with NHTSA as well so that a better picture of quality work is reached to the authorities. They said that it will enhance the security and safety of the products but the information should not come at a cost of privacy.
