Earlier today, we showed you the Guardians of the Galaxy 2 trailer, and there are some things that you may not have noticed before. So what have we learned from this clip? Quite a bit actually:

The Abilisk: At the start of the clip, we see something called an Abilisk - it's a huge creature that we've seen before in concept art. It is probably that the team will have to defeat the beast throughout the movie.

Awesome Mix Vol. 2: At Comic-Con this year, two songs were introduced as part of the mix this year:  Jay and the Americans’ “Come a Little Bit Closer” and Fleetwood Mac’s “The Chain”.  Thanks to the song used in the trailer, we can assume that “Fox on the Run” by Sweet will be there as well.

Baby Groot: Once again, Baby Groot will be at the forefront of everything. Within the trailer, it looks like he remembers everything, but he isn't as mature as he was in the first movie. Groot also rides on Rocket's shoulder while he fires a weapon. We also see Groot wearing a Ravenger suit.

Elizabeth Debicki: The actress will star as Ayesha, the villain this time around. It is said that she will be related to superhero Adam Warlock, who we haven't see yet. While we don't see her yet, you can see a few seconds of ships that once belonged to the Sovereign people, who Ayesha leads.

The Guardians Themselves: Yondu and Nebula have joined the squad, though we don't see either in the trailer. Instead, the focus was on Mantis, a new character.

Mantis: A character who was brought up by Ego the Living Planet.
