Toyota is focusing on making hybrid technology better than ever to tone down emissions by many points.

Toyota is working towards getting its engines better for environment this is the reason they have developed a new hybrid engine that will reduce emission to a large extent.

The new engine and transmissions that are soon to be introduced by company will be best for reduced fuel consumption. Along with that the new hybrid systems that are improved will provide excellent level of CO2 emission number.

According to Toyota, they are working on the “Direct and Smooth” development theme that is going to make the driving performance better for all the coming models by automaker. Other than that the environmental performance of these vehicles will be improved to a lot of extent too.

The new powertrain units will be featured in almost 60 percent of upcoming new vehicles. These will be introduced and sold in China, Europe, United States and Japan by year 2021.

Toyota is all set for a global transportation reform under its own system of Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) reform. This reform is subjected to make the hybrid systems better and fuel efficient along with environmental friendly. The automaker is all set to deploy these developed powertrains in the new models that are due to go on sale in year 2017.

The new developmental powertrain is better because it uses light and compact assembly of parts in its engines. It’s TNGA based Powertrain units are excellent for less fuel consumption and less CO2 emission too. These are inline 4 cylinder 2.5 liters direct injection engines.

According to company, the fuel economy gets better by 20 percent after using this engine and new technology. Along with that bodies of cars have been given aerodynamic changes and weight reduction to increase performance too.
