AB InBev is giving its Busch beer brand its first Super Bowl ad.

The news about Super Bowl 2017 ads is slowly picking up. The biggest Super Bowl advertiser, Anheuser-Busch InBev will for the first time run a Busch Super Bowl ad.

The Busch beer is according to its tag-line "Cold As A Mountain Stream, Smooth As Its Name." The brand exists since 1955 when it was launched as Busch Bavarian beer. It was the first beer introduced by Anheuser-Busch after Prohibition. The name has been changed to just Busch beer in 1979.

The Busch beer is sold a bit cheaper than Budweiser, making it Anheuser-Busch's second most popular brand according to Wikipedia. The beer deserves a pricey Super Bowl ad. Fox is reportedly charging more than $5m for a 30 second spot during the Super Bowl LI broadcast.

Anheuser-Busch is each year advertising one of their smaller brands besides Budweiser and Budlight at the Super Bowl. This year the decision went to the Busch brand. At the Super Bowl 50, AB InBev features a Shock Top Super Bowl ad, besides Budlight and Budweiser commercials.

The Busch Super Bowl 2017 ad has not been officially announced yet. Beer industry publication Beer Marketer's Insights broke the news according to AdAge.

The Super Bowl 2017 will take place in the NRG Stadium in Houston on Sunday, Feb. 5, 2017. It is Fox's turn to broadcast the Super Bowl 2017. Pepsi is again the sponsor of the Super Bowl LI Halftime Show. The full official title of the show between the first and second halftime is pretty long winded: Pepsi Zero Sugar Super Bowl LI Halftime Show. In October the NFL already announced the Super Bowl LI half-time show performer. Lady Gaga will perform the Super Bowl 2017 Halftime Show.

The Pepsi Zero Sugar Super Bowl LI Halftime Show is the most-watched musical event of the year. More than 116.5 million viewers in the U.S. watched last year's show. Super Bowl LI and Halftime Show will be broadcast by FOX Sports from NRG Stadium in Houston. Super Bowl LI marks Pepsi's fifth year as title sponsor of the Super Bowl Halftime Show and 15th year as an NFL partner.

Super Bowl 2017 ads are reportedly more expensive again. Fox is said to charge between $5 million to $5.5 million for a 30 second ad slot.
