It looks like General Motors don’t have anything to offer in CES 2017

The Consumers Electrics Show (CES) is surely a big platform for each and every electronic parts maker company. This is the reason that each show every year see thousands of new products launched by a great number of famous and small companies.

General Motors unleashed the Bolt EV 2017 in the CES 2016. The company came with a bang and made a big announcement about the upcoming reveal of the year by company. However it looks like General Motor have decided, not to show up in CES 2017.

General Motors just issued a statement to GMA. The statement reads: "The Consumer Electronics Show continues to be a key venue for GM to announce and demonstrate new technologies. At CES 2016, GM introduced the world to a number of new vehicle and connectivity innovations to great acclaim, including the Chevrolet Bolt EV, recipient of a Best of CES award."

While GM does not have an exhibit at CES 2017, we will have several team members attending the show, serving as speakers and conducting important business meetings. We will continue to look for opportunities to use future shows to introduce media and customers to new vehicle technologies."

This news from GM about sitting out the CES 2017 has actually come as a huge surprise for many of us. As we know that CES is one of the best places to introduce the upcoming new electronics, thus GM’s decision to not take part in the show seems pretty confusing.

The news is a surprise as General Motors has recently made considerable developments in the Cruise Automation. This technology is introduced as a pack in GM’s Super Cruise Technology.

Along with that the company has worked significant well in the car connectivity and other modules. However it looks like General Motors have other plans to look forward to.

Now they are not showing up at CES 2017, we are hoping to see the products of company at the 2017 North American International Auto Show.

This show will just be following CES 2017 which will be held in the first week of January 2017. We can trust the company to at least showcase the 2018 C7 Corvette ZR1 break cover.
