Thus both of the companies will continue making the cars and will surely be making some Formula Ones to speed up on the racing track too.

The deal of extension was recently signed at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix as part of partnership between the two companies. The Red Bull F1 cars will continue to bear the Aston Martin Logo.

According to the CEO of Aston Martin, Andy Palmer, the partnership of Red Bull and Aston Martin have given the industry AM-RB 001.

He said that AM-RB 001 is surely a car that will be one of the top performing Hypercars of the coming year. He also said that this car will surely provide a lot of opportunities for car enthusiast and technology experts.

This was the time when the brands also made the announcement that all the road variants of AM-RB 001 were sold out. There were 150 variants of the hyper car that were to be prepared for performing on road.

The extension of partnership however can mean that there can be more cars in the future too. The delivery of these sold out cars will start from 2019.

When Palmer was asked about the future of AM-RB 001, he said that there can be a 002 or 003 but all of this depends upon the success and demand of AM-RB 001.

Christian Horner, Team Principal of Red Bull Racing said: “We first conceived our Innovation Partnership with Aston Martin in the realisation that it could be truly pioneering. In blending our distinct but unique skills under a shared creative vision, we have already seen tangible development to both of our brand and businesses. The extraordinary success of the AM RB-001 is testament to the expert and collaborative spirit in which it was forged, and extending our relationship with Aston Martin through 2017 was a simple and pleasing decision.”

Aston Martin President and CEO, Dr. Andy Palmer said: “By bringing together the talents of Red Bull Racing and Aston Martin, AM-RB 001 is destined to become the defining hypercar of this decade and a hugely desirable investment for collectors and enthusiasts.”

“Our relationship with Red Bull Racing has done for Aston Martin exactly what we expected it to do,” he continued. “It is helping us to continue to build our brand across the globe. Partnerships like this are good for business both in terms of technical innovation and brand awareness, so we are delighted to continue into 2017.”
