FCA might not participate in Detroit auto show

FCA always have chosen the year’s Detroit Auto show to reveal a new product. Most of the times, the company go with launching one of its most sophisticated products at the event.

However this year, the company has chosen consumer Electronics Show 2017 over the famous Detroit Auto Show 2017, according to Detroit Free Press.

Fiat Chrysler has recently announced that they will go for a press release at coming year’s CES event. The Consumer Electronics Show 2017 will be held in January. It will be held from January 4th to 8th in Las Vegas.

The company has decided that they will reveal a brand new vehicle at the CES 2017 instead of revealing it at North American International Auto Show that will start from January 8th.

It is pretty rare that a Detroit origin auto maker sits out this show. This is the reason that this news came as a surprise for everyone at the automaker industry.

This is the first time since 2010 when FCA will not be present with a new product at Detroit. When a comment on the issue was requested from an FCA spokesman, the spokesman actually declined to comment on it.

It is also not clear that what kind of product will be revealed by Fiat Chrysler at CES 2017. There are a number of products that are in development by the company including mini trucks and cross overs.

We can see a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Track hawk as a revealing vehicle in CES 2017 as well. This a long awaited 2.0 liter Hurricane I-4 engine Jeep that is supposed to release any time soon.

Other than that, we may some other product by Fiat Chrysler. It is only a matter of time when we will get to see the real products.
