The newest version of Vive will have new features too

The year 2016 was very special for the virtual reality. We saw many new gadgets and platforms promoting the VR technology. Along with that it was seen that a number of companies focused on products that were focused on VR technology. tech giants like that of Sony, HTC, Samsung, Microsoft and many others focused on making games and many other applications focused on VR tech.

HTC Vive was launched earlier and sold around a record of 140,000 headsets all around the world by November 2016. This is the reason that it is expected that HTC will be all set to launch the new and updated version of vive soon. It is expected that HTC Vive 2.0 will be introduced at CES 2017 with new features.

According to IBT, the HTC Vive 2.0 is supposed to have these five features

Wireless headset

The HTC Vive 2.0 might be a wireless VR technology headset. The headsets that are currently being used and in sale are the ones which need to be connected to a PC or phone via a wire.

4K screens

The gamers can be happy to hear that the new HTC Vive 2.0 will have a 4K screen. This is very much important if you are looking to enjoy some high quality 3D effects on your headset.

Room-Scale VR

The new feature that will accompany the HTC Vive 2.0 is the Room-scale VR. It will allow the users to have the ability to use clear space while using this technology.

Enhanced lighthouse mechanics

The latest vive will feature enhanced lighthouse mechanics which make sure that the picture quality is brightened and the vision is flooded with light even for the low light scenes.

Improved refresh Rate

The headset will have less time to be refreshed as compared to current model.
