NASA Launches its Official GIPHY and Pinterest Pages

NASA shares tons of incredible images on GIPHY and pinterest accounts

NASA is poring over its best images on official Pinterest and GIPHY accounts, which will take visitors an amazing journey of universe exploration.

GIPHY is a database of animated images in graphics interchange format which allows visitors to download and share GIFs in their own accounts. Now, GIFs from NASA can also be directly accessed using its official GIPHY page.

NASA is now also having an official Pinterest page. With a launch of this page, uses can scroll through a trove of videos and images and save their favorite ones by adding them on pinboards. 

“This social media platform allows users to browse and discover images from across NASA’s many missions in aeronautics, astrophysics, Earth science, human spaceflight, and more. Pinboards are often used for creative ideas for home decor and theme-party planning, inspiration for artwork and other far-out endeavors.” NASA website reads.

NASA always seems to extend public access to their extensive portfolio of space findings and discoveries and the launch of Pinterest and GIPHY accounts is a part of this initiative. These accounts are offering images of everything from our planet and solar system to object in outer space like galaxies, black holes, asteroids and comets. The pages also inluded surprising activities of astronauts onboard International Space Station and glimpses of NASA’s space probes.
