Super Nintendo World is coming to Universal Studios Japan
 

Nintendo is to launch the Super Nintendo World Park attraction at the Universal Studios Japan. The theme park will be operational in time for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. Nintendo has announced to introduce similar attractions in Orlando and Hollywood.

The news of these attractions was given last year and their exact locations have been revealed this November. We know have more information on the theme parks. They are said to have state of the art rides, interactive areas, fantastic shops and restaurants as well.

All of the facilities will have Nintendo’s most popular character and games featured. This obviously means you will be getting to see Mario and his friends along with other popular Nintendo characters. The teaser image released by Nintendo shows Mario and Lugi upfront.

However you may also be able to find Disney-like mascots for Peach and Toad. The best part is that all the characters and attractions will be developed at the highest quality. The creative fellow of Nintendo Shigeru Miyamoto will participate in the designing himself.

The development is to cost a whopping amount of 50 billion yen or more. The attraction will be located at the Universal Studio’s current place for future expansion and parking. Nintendo is optimistic that this attraction will bring in more than a million jobs in Japan just within a decade of its opening.
