Adidas Debuts New 3D Printed Running Shoes For Just $333

3D printing has gained popularity and has been pretty amazing in terms of creating and enhancing lifestyle products for consumers. Adidas was brave enough to toy around with 3D printed shoes in the recent years. The experimentation gave the world the FutureCraft 3D concept in 2015.

The German company is pretty motivated with this technology and it has today announced that it will be selling the 3D printed shoes for the very first time however only in limited edition form. Not to spoil things for the fans but these are going to be pretty hard to get.

The 3D Runner shoe design is similar to the shoe design Adidas gifted to its medal winning athletes in the Rio 2016 Olympics. The main highlight is the Black Primeknit upper and the midsole manufactured from 3D printed materials. The sad part is that these shoes will only be available in New York, London and Tokyo.

They will be costing $333. People residing in New York can try reserving the shoe via the Adidas confirmed app available on both iOS and Android. You can then simply pick up the fantastic pair of shoes from the flagship store on 5h Avenue.

The People in the other two cities can try their luck on December 15. The 3D Runner shoe may seem to be pricey but the truth is if you miss out at the launch the shoes will be available in the resell market with price tag way above its original MRSP.
