Lots of people take diet drinks for weight loss, but that proved wrong.

Several people drink diet coke and zero sprite for weight loss, but researchers say that these drinks enhance the appetite. 

A team of volunteers had diet drinks and noticed that their size was the same.

A recent study on diet drinks shows that diet drinks have certain chemicals that boost the appetite, so they are not helpful in weight loss. The study published in International Journal of Obesity.

Diet drinks have aspartame, an artificial sweetener that creates more hunger in people, eventually the weight increases. Same happens when we take artificial sweeteners in tea or coffee.

Different experiments were conducted during the research to see the effects of aspartame. The researchers revealed that aspartame enhances metabolic syndrome that has symptoms like high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and large waist.

Aspartame was also tested on mice, and increased weight happened in mice
