1,000 Hatchimals on Sale Today at Spin Master Online Store, Updated
1,000 Hatchimals on Sale at Spin Master Thursday, Dec. 15.

The Spin Master Online store finally offer Hatchimals again, but with a catch. Updated.

Hatchimals maker Spin Master will sell today 1,000 Hatchimals online. The Canadian toy maker has said for the past two weeks that more Hatchimals are coming. The Hatchimals will go on sale today, Dec. 15 at 1pm ET on the Spin Master Online store, according to an email sent to newsletter subscribers.

2pm ET: Spin Master sold the Pink Penguala Hatchimals bundled with a 1-yr Toca TV app subscription for $79.99. As expected the site blew up under the load of shoppers. Somehow though the 1,000 Hatchimals go sold out now. The product page of the $79.99 Hatchimals & Toca TV Bundle - Penguala - Pink Egg is still available on shop.spinmaster.com. The next big chance to buy Hatchimals is on Sunday at ToysRUs stores.

The 1,000 Hatchimals will be sold bundled with a 1-yr subscription to the Toca TV app. Toca TV is ad-free video offering tailored to kids age of 5 to 9. The regular price of the Toca TV subscription is $39.99. Customers who want to buy a Hatchimal egg at Spinmaster.com today will have to spend $99.98.

Spin Master says in the email that this will be the last Hatchimals sale before the Holidays. Hatchimals are rising in price at other retailers. Spin Master is at least giving customers something of value for the extra money. ToysRUs will sell Hatchimals on Sunday for $79.99.

The Spin Master online store is very fragile. It will be a nightmare to get a Hatchimals order completed.

The Draggle Hatchimal is listed right now on the Spin Master online store for $59.99. It is marked as avaiable in the search results, but out of stock on the product page. Usually Hatchimals are not showing up in the store search. Looks like Spin Master is preparing for the sale later today.

Hatchimals at Spin Master

It is not clear yet if the Hatchimals sale will be available to all shoppers, or just the ones that have received the email. As always we will update this Hatchimals report with breaking developments leading up to the 1pm ET Hatchimals sale at shop.spinmaster.com.

The Hatchimals hunt in stores is still a wild goose chase. The only thing consumers can hold onto is Brickseek. The store inventory service is though not at accurate with estimates this week. Even for Target the inventory levels are not matching the real available inventories well this week. The restocking event on Sunday might have messed things up a bit.

The low numbers of available Hatchimals at Target and Walmart stores is making getting up early in the morning to line up at a local store a lotttery game. Find the available sources of Hatchimals in our Hatchimals Shopping Guide.

Best Buy has started to list Hatchimals last week in their store, but we have not seen a single report of anyone being able to buy a Hatchimal egg at Best Buy stores.

Hatchimals are available on eBay and on the Amazon Marketplace from resellers for about $200 and more. The exclusive Owlicorn and Bearakeet are the most expensive on the reseller market.

Canadian toy company Spin Master landed a smash it with the Hatchimals. The company basically took a Furby (for those who can remember what that is) and stuck it inside an egg. Hatchimals are "magical creatures" that already interact with your kids inside the egg. Each egg contains one of two interactive Hatchimals. Kids need to take care of the Hatchimal while its still inside until the rainbow eyes appear.

That means its time to hatch. Hatchimals can't hatch on their own. Videos of Hatchimals hatching have gone viral on Youtube. Kids want Hatchimals because the saw commercials and the Hatchimals videos of the Youtube toy review kids.

Touch is guiding them to peck their way out of the egg. Once outside the egg owners raise the furry Hatchimal through 3 stages, from baby to toddler, to kid. The Hatchimal sings "Hatchy Birthday" each time it enters a new stage. Hatchimals can learn to walk, dance, play games and more. Hatchimals also repeat what you say in its own voice.

There several different kinds of Hatchimals that differ in color and kind of the creatures inside. There are also exclusive editions for stores like Walmart. Available Hatchimals include Hatchimals Draggles Blue/Purple Egg, Hatchimals Draggles Blue/Green Egg, Hatchimals Pengualas Pink Egg, Hatchimals Pengualas Pink/Teal Egg, and Hatchimals Burtle Purple/Teal Egg.
