Lucid Motors unveils its new electric car called Lucid Air with 400-mile range. The EV range has been extended to a great amount!

Lucid Motors who were working on its EV have finally revealed it officially for the world. This $100,000 plus Sedan with an Electronic transmission is something to look for, both because of its looks and mileage.

The luxury model that was aiming to compete with Tesla Model S, Mercedes-Benz S Class and BMW 7 Series has certainly done a great job in terms of mechanics and design. The car is supposed to get its own mass production started in 2018 at company’s Arizona factory.

The best and most important thing about this EV is that it has a mileage of 400 miles which is the biggest number to be attained by EV maker.

The companies like Tesla have increased their battery size and power to increase the overall mileage of their EVs but they certainly haven’t reached the 400 miles unit yet.

This EV will come with a 100kWh battery that is also used by Tesla motors but it Lucid is off to use a 120kWh option of battery too.

The company has claimed that this battery will be prepared by Samsung SDI which is the partner in the project. This battery is supposed to take the mileage of EV to 400 miles on a single charge.

Lucid Motors say that this upcoming EV Air will surely be a great addition to the car domain where owners will be able to enjoy luxury, sportiness, efficiency and great mileage all at one place.

The electric motors used in the car will have 600bhp power and will be integrated with HVAC suspension system of car. The car has a greater seating capacity and large leg room too due to its bigger stature making it one of the largest EVs produced until now.
