Ford has a new proposal for the autonomous cars that are being developed by the company. Ford has proposed for using drones in order to make the self-driving cars work in the right way.

This is the reason that the company is going forward with the plan to take help from drones in order to map the area in which the cars will be driven.

According to the proposal by the automaker, the drones launched from a self-driving car will guide the car in the right way by mapping the surrounding area of the car beyond the ways, cars own sensors would be able to detect.

These drones will be able to communicate with car’s system and the driver along with passengers will be able to control the drone through the infotainment system of cars.

According to Alan Hall, who is the spokesperson for Ford, these drones will be really helpful in guiding the cars off the roads. The replaces such as woods or un-paved paths will be led by the drones which will be able to predict the most appropriate path and most feasible path to follow.

According to Hall, this idea stemmed from the brainstorming session which was carried out by a number of professionals. The company is also making sure that the new ideas and advanced mobility is met in the right way by performing technological tasks that are appropriate for each and every one Ford’s customers.

Hall also said hat Ford is going to work with Silicon Valley Research Center in order to maneuver drones up to their own demands. These drones can easily help in navigation for autonomous vehicles in the future making them more feasible and accurate to be driven.
