  • Fifth Harmony Reassures Fans After Camila Cabello Exits

Fifth Harmony reassure fans that the rest of the girl group will continue together now that Camila Cabello has left

Another one of X Factor and Simon Cowell’s musical group successes, Fifth Harmony emerged on the scene when they were eliminated out of X Factor USA but signed on a deal with Syco Music, owned by Simon Cowell, and Epic Records.

The girl group continued to three albums with the latest album titled 7/27. The group has since then sung and performed hits like “Worth It”, “Work from Home” and the latest “That’s My Girl”. However, there has always been friction among the group and one of them has eventually decided to leave.

The Fifth Harmony reported that Camila Cabello had informed the group via her representatives that she was leaving the group. They noted that the group had been together for four and a half years.

The remaining group members, Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane Hansen and Lauren Jauregui addressed their fans who call themselves the Harmonizers.

They said that the fans had been there for them throughout their experiences and they will continue to be a girl group with their support. They said that they were four strong, committed women who will continue with Fifth Harmony and their individual endeavours in the future.

Camila reportedly quitted after their after Fifth Harmony's tour obligations with iHeartRadio's Jingle Ball Tour concluded Sunday night with a gig in South Florida. She has not personally commented on her exit.

The singer has previously hinted in an interview that the group was destined to break up at some point. She has been exploring her solo career for some time. She previously recorded a song with Shawn Mendes, “I Know What You Did Last Summer”. This year, she recorded "Power in Me" with producer Benny Blanco and her "Bad Things" collaboration with Machine Gun Kelly.
