  • Donald Trump on Climate Change: “Nobody really knows”

Apparently, climate change scientists say one thing and on the other hand President-Elect Donald Trump’s Trumpisms are leveling the field too.

Everybody’s favorite Trumpism is “nobody really knows”. Trump has a habit of saying this one and he says it often in order to stump the press and public. This particular one has ben used by “The Donald” to answer such questions as: Did Russia interfere in the US elections?

How vast is ISIS’s network? Why did Bush colonize Iraq? Can terrorists be profiled? Trump says this so as to avoid any responsibility for the state of affairs in America and the rest of the world.

However, one area where he is having difficulty applying his usual run-of-the-mill Trumpisms is in the science of climate change. Trump uses this particular Trumpism angrily when reporters ask him concerning global warming and his denial of it.

Trump sees climate change as a known unknown. That means that nobody knows about it. Trump recently said the words in a fit of loose temper.

Donald Trump appeared to be sick and tired of it all. He softened his stance momentarily in an interview before ultimately saying it with renewed anger and frustration, according to Slate.

Trump seems to be saying that how can his questioners be so sure of themselves. They do not know for certain and neither does he so why don’t they take his word for it since it is as good as anyone else’s. Trump does seem to ooze self-confidence which has carried him from being a reality TV star and a rich man all the way to being the next POTUS.

Donald Trump doesn’t trust the experts who often turn out to be wrong later on on so many subjects. He is a practical man who has his “yes” and his “no” and he uses them accordingly.

This man tends to take all opinions in a stride. He does not afford the climatologists a special status as modern-day pundits of a progressive society. As far as he is concerned, their opinions are no better than the verses of many poets.

They are junk science in the eyes of Donald Trump. Trump considers the fact that climate change scientists have beliefs that are supported by two thirds of Americans merely after superficial analysis.

Although Trump says there may be some connectivity between pollution and global warming, the evidence is unclear and subject to controversy. What Trump says may be nonsense but than that is just the point.

It has no relation to sense and is a freewheeling opinion like that which any other bloke holds in his heart. In this day and age, climate change denial is dangerous since already the world is facing inclement weather and soaring temperatures due to climate change.
