Nicki Minaj and Drake share a picture together after two years following Nicki Minaj’s break up with Meek Mill

Nicki Minaj and Drake have not been on talking terms with each other. This was due to Nicki Minaj’s former boyfriend Meek Mill. Meek Mill and Drake had a fall out in July 2015 after Mill called out Drake for not tweeting in support of his latest release.

This sparked a series of a very public feud and dissing at each other. Among the fight of men, Nicki and Drake refrained from talking to each other. Drake mentioned again and again in various interviews that he had a lot of love and respect for Nicki Minaj but they were not talking.

A few months back, Nicki announced that she was breaking off her engagement with Meek Mill. While the rapper has been very causal about it and have focused on making new music, no news came through about her personal life.

She appeared on a segment on ESPN with Lil Wayne on January 5th. Drake reportedly caught the segment and rang up label's president, Mack Maine and asked him why had he not called Drake to the reunion.

Drake then headed to Miami on January 12 to sit down with Nicki and Young Money's founder Lil Wayne where they were photographed together.

Nicki and Drake also snapped a picture together which Nicki posted on her Instragram for 73 million followers on Wednesday without any caption.

The picture features a cute playful selfie of the duo which represents the platonic friendship. They look casual, relaxed and comfortable around each other.

Minaj and Drake have clocked in several collaborations like 2009's "Best I Ever Had (Remix)," 2010's "Up All Night" and "Moment 4 Life," 2011's "Make Me Proud," 2014's "Only" as well as 2015's "Truffle Butter." Hopefully, they will collaborate on more tracks in the future.
