  • Jaguar-I Pace goes on for finalization of production model

No major changes can be seen in the final prototype.

Jaguar Designer, Ian Callum stated earlier that Jaguar-I Pace concept was a preview for 5 seater production model. It looks that he was fooling around when he said that it was a preview as we just got to know that Jaguar-I Pace is off to the finalization of production model.

The amazing thing in the news is that there are hardly any changes that can be spotted in this production finalized prototype. The spy shots that we got recently show that Jaguar-I Pace is pretty much same like that of the concept which was revealed earlier.

The prototype that was spied shows the car in a green camouflage. The car shows the already disclosed cab-forward design of the vehicle. It is something that is inspired from it concept predecessor. The headlights are not changed, according to AutoBlog.

They have the same shape and have the sweeping back affect. The door handles can be seen as flush mounted ovals. These are placed low on doors. The rear spoiler looks same too.

Only a handful of minor changes can be seen in the car. The grille has got a few tweaks. It dent show as much depth as it used to show. The front bumper also looked a little less aggressive than the concept.

The big hear extractor vent which was placed in hood as in the concept is no more there as well. The rear bumper has gotten a simple diffuser. Along with that it has been rounded off too.

The Jaguar-I Pace is supposed to have a number of electric motors which will produce a power of 400bhp. The motors will be powered by 90 kWh lithium-ion battery. It is expected that the car will be revealed officially in the end of year 2017 or in early 2018.
