Apple experts say that they are completely rethinking the Mac Pro based on professional feedback to make it more pro customer

Apple customers might have complained somewhere in frustration that the company has not made any revisions to the Mac Pro after the year 2013.

The same model has been in the market for almost four years now and while the company might have been making innovative changes with other products, Ma Pro remained wanting for attention.

Fret no more because Apple’s SVP of worldwide marketing, Phil Schiller has news for the Apple customers around the world. During a round table conference with a handful of journalists at Apple’s Machine Shop hardware prototyping lab, Schiller revealed in an interview to BuzzFeed that the company is currently invested in rethinking the whole Mac Pro.

He revealed that the company is not only working on the computer but also the modular system. He said that they are also working on pro display.

“We are completely rethinking the Mac Pro,” Phil Schiller said during a recent roundtable with a handful of reporters at the company’s Machine Shop hardware prototyping lab. And it won't just be the computer.

“Since the Mac Pro is a modular system, we are also doing a pro display. There’s a team working hard on it right now.”

Schiller said that they will also release pro models of the iMac. In a statement, he said that Apple is going to be making configurations of iMac specifically with the pro customer in mind.

“We have big plans for the iMac,” said Phil Schiller. “We’re going to begin making configurations of iMac specifically with the pro customer in mind.”

Schiller admitted that they had previously designed their way into a corner in efforts to be bold and different at the time. He said that they are designing the new iMac and pro display based on the customer feedback.

According to The Verge, he said that while they had been keen on releasing the Touch Bar with Mac Pro in 2013, it hardly seems to be on top of the list of priorities for users. Instead, emphasis was given to poor battery life, limited storage and lack of USB ports.

Schiller said that they are going to design the new model without the touchscreen feature and concentrate on solving the currently recurrent issues in the new model of Mac Pro and pro display which will not be available until next year.
