Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus to Make Record Profits
  • Samsung to Rake in Mighty Profits via the Sales of its Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus Smartphones

Samsung is on cloud nine. It is to rake in some mighty profits via the record sales of its Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus smartphones.

Last year, Samsung saw both highs and lows. Consumers bought its Galaxy S7 in great numbers. The high demand for its S7 and S7 Edge led to profits going through the roof for the second quarter of 2016. The giant tech firm was clearly on a roll. Such good luck had hardly been seen in eons.

By the time August of 2016 came along, it seemed Samsung was simply unstoppable. Yet such was not to be. Its Galaxy Note 7 may have received a lot of praise in reviews but something went wrong along the way.

There were reports of Galaxy Note 7 devices spontaneously combusting and even exploding into smithereens. This was not good. Although at first it was all ignored as a series of rumors yet soon enough it became clear that the phablet was suffering from a manufacturing fault.

So Samsung was literally forced to recall all its phablets. The company ended up losing billions and was reduced to a nervous wreck in the process.

However, Samsung is not a loser. It picked up where it had fallen in a rut and soon managed to introduce its Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus to the rest of the world.

These will hopefully lead Samsung to making a hefty series of profits during the second quarter of 2017. This is indeed good news if there was any. This quarter, Samsung will reach $11 billion in profits, according to BGR.

That is a 50% increase over last year’s meager sum. Let’s not forget that during the second fiscal quarter of 2016, Samsung had made $7.22 billion which is a much smaller sum of money.

Samsung may have reached its apogee and the profits show such a statement to be true. In fact, the conglomerate never had it so good. A record which the company set in 2013, which amounted to $9.2 billion, may have been left behind this time around.

Samsung has many projects in the pipeline and it never puts all of its eggs in one basket. That is the secret behind its good luck in matters of making some cold hard cash.

Its semiconductors and OLED panels will help push its incoming revenues into the stratosphere. Samsung has shown once and for all that it is a winner and a firm that learns from its mistakes.
