Apple Could Delay iPhone 8 Launch Till October or November
  • Apple is Rumored to Delay Launch of its iPhone 8 till the End of 2017

It looks like Apple Inc. could put off the launch of its iPhone 8 till the end of 2017. At least, that is what will be so if the rumors are anything to go by.

Apple plans on delaying the launch of its superior iPhone 8. This baby has a very cool 5.8 inch edge-to-edge OLED display. The procrastination will be till October or November of this year.

In the recent past, Apple introduced its new iPhones in September However, now that Appleā€™s suppliers are finding technical issues in the manufacturing of the iPhone 8, such a scenario seems most likely.

One of the problem is the differences in the display lamination process. Also the hindrances encountered in the integration of the 3D sensing front camera system may have played a role in this delay.

A rumor became obvious in March that the iPhone 8 may be on sale later than its designated time period, according to a report by DigiTimes. This was due to switching to an OLED display. The novel technology that was required for the sake of the OLED screen meant that the delay was a necessity.

This delay has been a bitter pill to swallow for both Apple and its consumers. Thus the iPhone 7s and 7s Plus would go on sale in September as per schedule. The upper class iPhone 8 would come later than that. These sort of uneven release dates set by Apple are a highly unusual phenomenon.

A September launch for the S cycle of iPhones without any OLED display in the picture would be like something very important had gone amiss in the mix. There is a remote possibility that the high-end device could be revealed at the same time as the other iPhones which are arriving right on schedule.

Yet it is also possible that the iPhone 8 will be released in limited quantities. Also it could be delayed once again thus leaving an aftertaste of resentment on the tongues of the consumers. It all ultimately depends on the head honchos at Apple Inc.

The 10th Anniversary iPhone may most likely get released in September. The stocks will be limited though. Apple has placed an order for 70 million OLED panels from Samsung.

Samsung will make in excess of 95 million OLED panels by the end of this year. The iPhone 8, when it comes in the market, will feature wireless charging facility, zero traces of a physical Home Button and 3D facial recognition or even iris scanning technology. Also there are hints of a Touch ID which is a part of the True Tone display.
