By now, the console wars are pretty much a way of life for many gaming fans. However, what many people don't know is that Sony is currently winning. Their PlayStation 4 has sold nearly twice as many units as the Xbox One since 2013, even though from marketing, you wouldn't be able to tell. That's not even close.

Right now, Microsoft is banking on the Scorpio to save the day, or they may be out of the console wars fo good. Everything about Xbox Scorpio has to be perfect - it needs to be as powerful as they are hyping, it needs to have amazing graphics. There cannot be any problems or quirks - it can't bend, have connection issues, or overheat.

They also need to focus, according to a Forbes article, on the exclusive titles they have. Right now, the showing is fairly paltry. Think about the Nintendo Switch - with an exclusive game like Zelda, it brought more fans to the platform. Project Scorpio doesn't really have that.

But the biggest problem has always been that the Xbox line has been behind in power. They really look like they seem to be changing that with the Scorpio - but they need to focus on bringing popular, attractive titles that can show it off. Sure, they are working on games to show it off, but if they don't have names behind them, there really isn't a point.

Scorpio is a good start - it sheds the Xbox title somewhat and makes it feel like something totally new. They worked on getting the specs up (or so we hope - we'll find out soon).

At the end of the day, Microsoft really needs to focus on bringing new games - or declare game over.
