One of the highlight games isn't selling in the eShop.

Last night, the Nintendo Switch eShop updated and included a section for best-selling games. The top five were heavily featured and there was a bit of a surprise. The top five were Snipperclips, Snake Pass, Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove, Fast RMX, Has-Been Heroes and The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ in that order.

Notice a high profile name that's missing from the list?

Coming in at number seven was The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. This means that six indie titles have bested the game that was the flagship game for the console.

Most of these games were exclusives to Nintendo and the digital shop, unsurprisingly. Nintendo has a great deal of exclusive games and that is working in their favor. It has allowed them to sell many more consoles because people want to play those games. It is still strange that the eShop isn't selling Zelda in higher numbers - or is it?

According to GameStop, more customers are coming into the store and ordering online to get the physical copies of the game because they want to have a backup. It also has to do with the amount of storage the Switch has. A digital copy of Breath of the Wild takes up13.4GB of data, and the Switch only has 32 GB of memory.

Most fans won't want to download it, according to Polygon.

All of the games populating the list are much smaller and don't take up nearly as much room.
