Bill O’Reilly is in Deep Trouble

Everybody knows about Bill O’Reilly, that bold fresh piece of humanity, on Fox News with his own segment. It is called “The O’Reilly Factor” and has Bill waging war in the battle of wit and wisdom against some mighty heavyweights. Yet did you know that recently there have been some pretty serious accusations from certain quarters against Bill O’Reilly regarding his verbal abuse and sexual harassment of women. Bill settled out of court with many of the women who were paid hefty sums of money.

Yet Donald Trump who is a conservative like Bill has come to take his side in these matters. According to CNN, Trump said that Bill was a good person and he was just not the type to do anything wrong. Donald Trump spoke of how Bill ought not to have gone for any cash settlements outside of court. He should have fought the litigation against him and won those cases fair and square.

But So is Susan Rice…

Susan Rice was the National Security Advisor under President Barack Obama. She has had allegations of spying on and wiretapping Donald Trump and his campaign advisors. Whereas Bill O’Reilly is facing charges of verbal abuse and sexual harassment, Susan Rice is the spy who went a little too far. According to Fox News, she may be subpoenaed. The lady was clearly engaged in something which was outside her jurisdiction. She may be innocent until proven guilty, since that was the American way of justice, but Susan Rice was into some pretty sneaky hanky panky.

Maxine Waters has Condemned Both Bill O’Reilly and Donald Trump and Sided with Susan Rice

After Bill O’Reilly was defended by Donald Trump, Maxine Waters came out against him in a vituperative manner. She said that Bill O’Reilly had spoken about her hair in a degrading and denigrating manner calling it “a James Brown wig”. According to USAToday, Maxine said that Donald Trump had come to the rescue of Bill O’Reilly since they were two of a kind.

Trump’s leaked cassette in which he can clearly be heard saying that you ought to grab women by their genitals caused a storm in the US elections which just passed us by. Donald Trump also insinuated that since he was a star that meant he could get away with it.

He spoke in a very vulgar manner of how he just went for kissing women without a second thought. In other words, there was no hesitation or trepidation on his part. Maxine Waters has said that it is not Susan Rice who ought to go to jail, it is Bill O’Reilly who ought to be put behind bars for his demeaning attitude and rough behavior towards so many women.

Dozens of Companies have Stopped Advertising on The O’Reilly Factor

The list just goes on and on. According to CNN, the majority of the firms that have ceased putting any ads on the O’Reilly Factor have given reasons that are very succinct and to-the-point in their brevity (which is the soul of wit). They include the likes of Mercedes-Benz, Hyundai, BMW, Mitsubishi, Lexus, Bayer, GlaxoSmithKline, Advil, Jenny Craig and Subaru. Also there are many companies that are thinking of pulling their ads off the O’Reilly Factor. These include: Trivago, Enterprise Holdings, TD Ameritrade and Expedia. The only company that will continue to advertise on the O’Reilly Factor is Angie’s List.

A Burgeoning Group of Females are Against Both Bill O’Reilly and Trump

There had to be limits to the insults and put-down remarks and sexual innuendo. A pat on the bottom. A sarcastic remark. A lascivious glance. Several women have joined hands on the Internet under the hashtag titled #droporeilly in order to tell it like it is. According to NYTimes, they are sharing their personal stories of humiliation and harassment on the job and in a men’s world.

One of them spoke of how she was told to tape down her breasts and wear a bandanna on her hair while at the Trump Tower back in the days when it was under construction. Another also said that she was sexually mistreated in an elevator with males in it and had a pornographic magazine discarded at her feet in the form of a rude dismissal.

Such stories have multiplied and they have taken not only Trump but also Bill O’Reilly in their ambit. Women are out for justice and they will get it no matter what the cost. Gone are the days when you could just get away with chasing your petite secretary around the desk each day if you happened to be the boss. While sexual harassment was usual fare in the 80s, ever since the 90s and the Noughties came along, women have become far more organized.

Roger Ailes Fired from Fox News…Is Bill O’Reilly Next?

We all know that it’s a case of one down and one to go. Roger Ailes who was the chairman of Fox Network had to flee the publicity he was getting due to his loose and lascivious ways with women. He faced sexual harassment charges and was finally forced to give up his lucrative career and seek retirement. It may just be a matter of time before Bill O’Reilly goes ahead and joins his senior counterpart.

According to Vanityfair, all it takes is the boot from Fox News and it is a possibility seeing that O’Reilly has managed to irritate so many advertisers on the channel. Bill O’Reilly is a loudmouthed and angry Caucasian who has often attacked women during his career at Fox News. He seems to have made millions of dollars from the art of making others lose arguments which he always wins. Yet now it seems even he has met his Waterloo.

His days as a political and cultural pundit are clearly over seeing that he has dug his own grave via debasing females. He somehow forgot the valid point that females comprise half the human race.
