As usual, the biggest press conferences will take place on the Sunday and Monday before the show starts (so June 11, 2017, and June 12, 2017). There will be major press events and other celebrations during this time, but they are extremely difficult to get into.

Here's a full look at where things will be held:

Major Names at E3 2017

Xbox (and Microsoft) at E3 2017

Probably the event that most people are looking forward to at E3 this year will be the Xbox one, where they will introduce (officially) Project Scorpio. As stated above, the press conference has been shifted to Sunday, so that event will be June 11, 2017, from 2 PM PT (5 PM ET; 10 PM UK).

Of course, Project Scorpio will be the main focus, but fans should expect to see a focus on games for the Xbox One as well, especially because those games will also work on Project Scorpio. The graphic capabilities is one key thing to pay attention to because it will be interesting to note how different they are from other games.

Some of the major games expected to be part of the discussion include Crackdown 3, Sea of Thieves, and State of Decay 2.

PlayStation at E3 2017

If you would have asked about whether or not PlayStation would be a major contender at E3 this year a few months ago, most people would have said no. However, many fans are excited about the announcement of games.

We don’t have many details about their program yet, but it is believed that it will take place at 6 PM PT on Monday, June 12, 2017 (9 PM ET and 2 AM on Tuesday in the UK).

One game that is likely to be highlighted at E3 this year is Red Dead Redemption 2. Set to be released in the fall, Sony and Rockstar Games teamed together to give PS4 players the first access to some of the online content. It will probably receive most of the fanfare, even if Rockstar doesn’t typically make a huge deal out of E3.

Some of the other games expected from PlayStation at E3 2017 include Days Gone, Death Stranding, Detroit: Become Human, God of War, Gran Turismo Sport, Knack 2, Spider-Man, The Last of Us 2, and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.

Nintendo at E3 2017

Of course, the focus of Nintendo at E3 will be the Switch. They don’t have as big of a conference as some of the other companies because they do their own. They will likely have some sort of presentation (likely online) that shows off the upcoming games.

Many fans hope that Super Mario Odyssey will be playable at the game, but there hasn’t been an official announcement about that yet. Super Smash Brothers will probably have some announcements as well, though it will most likely have to do with Wii U and 3DS updates.

The real question is whether or not Pokemon will make a display at E3. Some fans believe we will get something related to Pokemon Sun & Moon, but there haven’t been any real announcements that is coming.

As a special promotion, Nintendo is offering up free E3 tickets to those who win their Splatoon Tournament.

EA at E3 2017

Last year, Electronic Arts (EA) decided to pull away from E3 a little bit and host its own showcase somewhere nearby, but off-site. It will repeat that this year, holding an hour-long kickoff address on Saturday, June 10, 2017. After that day, the public will be able to look over what they have to offer. Note that you do have to sign up for this event in order to be allowed inside.

EA will also have "EA Play," a two-day event running from June 10, 2017 to June 12, 2017. The event will take place in Hollywood this year, a bit further away from the action.

Some of the major games expected to be on display include FIFA 18, FIFA for Switch, Star Wars: Battlefront 2, and Need for Speed.

Bethesda at E3 2017

Bethesda announced that it will have an E3 2017 conference early, giving hope to fans that they might get something really special this year. They will show on the Sunday before the show at 7 PM PT (10 PM ET and 3 AM UK).

Some fans are assuming they will surprise us with a new Elder Scrolls game, but there is no proof of that happenings. So far, it looks like Quake of Champions, Doom VR, and Fallout 4 VR will be the stars of the show.

Ubisoft at E3 2017

Ubisoft hasn’t confirmed when their press conference will be just yet, but there is no reason to think it will be any other time than the Monday before the show. We don’t have many clues as to what will be discussed at the press conference other than games – though some people do believe that the new Assassin’s Creed game will be in the spotlight.

Other games likely include the South Park game, Rayman Legends Definitive Edition for Switch, and Steep for Switch.

Activision at E3 2017

Last year, Activision went incredibly low key and very few people saw anything from them. However, Destiny 2 and Call of Duty WW2 (even if it hasn’t been ~officially announced yet) makes it almost a definite that they will be in the spotlight for everyone to see.
