Samsung Galaxy S8 goes against Apple iPhone 7 in a Drop Test and the result is Shocking!

We all see the most magnificent stunning handsets in their commercials where they float around and flash and look absolutely stunning. But let’s be honest, our inner hunger for entertainment would be more satisfied if the same “Royal-looking” smartphones were absolutely destroyed in strength tests. TechRax, a YouTube channel is willing to provide you that satisfaction in form of a Drop Test.

TechRax posted a video today which had Samsung Galaxy S8 and the new RED iPhone 7 compete in two Drop Test. One of the drop tests had the bulky-priced smartphone dropping from 5-feet on their sides (or edges), while the other drop test simply involved dropping the handsets face-first from 5-feet height to concrete ground. The devices in these models had no protective cases or covers to rescue them.

The assessment of both the test was strictly made scientific, counting in every factor that could have played a role in the outcome of each drop. The side test was quite cool for the eyes as none of the devices suffered any major loss in performance or structure of their body. Both the handsets had minor scratches on the edges on which they landed, no more.

A significant difference of outcomes was experienced when the flagships were dropped face-down on the concrete floor. Apple iPhone 7, unfortunately landed perfectly on all four corners which means that a lot of damage was incurred by the display panel. iPhone 7’s display panel was absolutely shattered and became unfunctional, while the system seemed to be working at 100%.

Samsung’s Galaxy S8 on the other hand landed on two corners first and then did a few glory flips before settling done. Surprisingly, the glass was minutely shattered from the center while the corners of the display screen showed signs of heavy damage. The display was working perfectly fine, as did the system, producing a victory for Samsung Galaxy S8 over iPhone 7.
